Overview:

Mr. Liu’s practice focuses on IP prosecution. He has successfully represented some major IT and electrical corporations in patent prosecution. He has handled thousands of patent filings and prosecuting cases covering various technical fields, particularly the fields of communication, computer, networks, photoelectronics, consumer electronic products, etc. Mr. Liu has also represented renowned clients in many patent reexamination cases and some patent invalidation cases. Mr. Liu’s related IP experience includes the following:
• Patent invalidation proceedings, and patent litigation in China.
• Prosecution of patent, including application document draft, office actions/oppositions procedures and reexamination procedures.
• Advising on IP protection strategies, R&D related IP issues.

Education and Training:

 Attended BeiJing Institute of Technology during 1989-1996 and graduated with certificate of hornor.                 

Qualification:

Patent Attorney since 2002; Recommended by All-China Patent Agents Association (ACPAA) and licensed by the Supreme People’s Court to practice before the courts on patent litigation cases since 2014
