Overview:

Ms. Zhang's practice focuses mainly on patent prosecution. She has successfully represented many corporations, from start-ups to multinationals, to handle over a thousand of patent filings and prosecuting cases covering various technical fields, particularly the fields of pharmaceuticals (small-molecules), foodstuffs, and agrochemicals. Ms. Zhang frequently provides legal opinions regarding patentability, validity, infringement and freedom to operate as requested by clients, and has represented clients in many patent reexamination cases and several patent invalidation and litigation cases.  In addition, Ms. Zhang has drafted and filed many patent applications for domestic clients, and helps clients obtain patent rights in China and abroad, such as in USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, etc. She also helps domestic clients in IP trainings, and has been invited several times to give introductions on Chinese patent practice for foreign clients.
