According to Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, "China IP Service Desk" is to be set up at Berlin International Consumer Electronics Exhibition.to provide IP information, consultation and mediation services for exhibitors from China.
During the exhibition, two IP experts will provide IP consultation and mediation services for Chinese enterprises to avoid any infringement disputes, and protect the legal rights and interests of Chinese exhibitors. At the same time, they will help concerned parties to find a fair and reasonable solution when any dispute occurs.
The established of China IP Service Desk is well recognized by German competent authorities. It will help promote the dialogue and communication between China and German exhibitors and avoid any possible conflict relating to IP.
The IP Service Desk is assisted by the EU-China IP Protection Project and is one of the important cooperative activities under China-EU IP project. The project is operated by Ministry of Commerce in China and European Patent Office and aims at strengthening the IP enforcement in China.
Berlin International Consumer Electronics Exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions for consumer electronics and home appliance in the world. More than 1,100 exhibitors including 360 Chinese exhibitors are at the exhibition.
