At the 2009 Summer Davos Forum, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao expresses China’s determination before more than 1,400 business leaders and policy makers around the world that China will continue to implement national IPR strategy, take strong measures to create a favorable legal and market environment for IP protection so that all innovations should be respected and rewarded and inventions and creations of all kinds can be transferred into real productivity.
Due to the slow-down and transformation of the world economy, Premier Wen proposed that all countries should make concerted efforts to tackle climate change, oppose trade and investment protectionism, promote sustainable recovery of the world economy and protect intellectual property rights.
