It is learnt recently from Standards and IP Forum in Beijing, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Siemens Ltd., China and China-EU IPR2, that further cooperation is required among governments at all levels, standardization associations, industries and researchers in order to find the most efficient and reasonable way to balance between the innovators and consumers. Officials from the industry expressed their concerns for the formulation of Chinese standards and hope to keep up with the development of Chinese standards.
Experts from standardization and IP fields also exchanged views on current SDO IP Policies, legal framework and its execution, enterprises' perspective. Dialogue was successfully held among all sides regarding the standardization and intellectual property. Many advices were given on how to formulate the national standards relating to IP.
