Recently, an agreement on IP cooperation between Beijing and Hebei Province was signed in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.
The agreement provides that the 2 sides shall cooperate in the following areas: case filing, investigation and evidence collection, acceptance of evidence, recognition and execution of administrative decisions, and joint efforts against counterfeiting patent cases, etc. Detailed working procedures and measures were formualted.
Earlier in March, Hebei Intellectual Property Office signed a “Jin-Ji IP Protection Cooperation Agreement” with Tianjin Intellectual Property Office. From now on, the three provinces (municipalities) will have comprehensive cooperation in IP protection through the establishment of the IP cooperation mechanism by sharing IP administrative resources, reducing cost of law enforcement, improving the lenforcement efficiency, and promoting hi-tech innovation and economic and social development in the region.
