Recently, Tech-innovation Strategy Alliances were set up for industries in Chongqing. There are a total of 10 alliances covering 10 fields of industry such as energy, light industry, manufacturing, apparatus, automobile, environmental protection. A public technology platform will be established within each alliance so that members of each alliance can share the technologies and intellectual property rights.
It is learnt that the alliances are aimed at strengthening of cooperation among industry, academic institutes and research institutes. The industry is considered as the best way for commercializing the science and technology achievement. The alliances will focus on the industrial technology innovation in Chongqing and carry out technical cooperation, set up industrial technical standards, establish a public technology platform for sharing intellectual property rights, accelerate commercialization of science and technology achievements and improve the whole competitiveness of the industries.
Additionally, the project for Chongqing Science and Technology Incubator for Enterprises also started and it is learned that those enterprises incubated in Chongqing under SME Innovation Fund project will be given RMB10,000 for free.
