In July 2009, China Intellectual Property Law Search System (hereinafter CNIPLSS)was launched in Beijing, a project under the cooperative framework between China and EU IP program.
CNIPLSS is a free-of-charge search tool designed to help users find and obtain legal resources under the current legislative framework of intellectual property in China, including Patent Law, Trademark Law, Copyright Law, Customs protection, Dissemination of Information on the Internet, New Plant Varieties and Unfair Competition, etc.
According to Ministry of Commerce, the competent authority for China-EU IP program, the CNIPLSS will for the first time provides a comprehensive, bilingual collection of legal references relevant to intellectual property in China, and will be a valuable support to anyone working, studying or simply interested in the Chinese IP environment.
