In July, 2009, Beijing Municipal IPR Service Center (Beijing 12330) cooperated with the Intellectual Property Office and held a special training seminar on trade secret for enterprises from incubators in Beijing.
The training covered the definition of trade secret, standards of infringing the trade secret, establishment of trade secret system within enterprises, administration of the trademark secrets, etc. Judges from Beijing 1st Intermediate People’s Court were invited to speak at the training seminar.
The training was one of the services developed by the Beijing 12330 in order to help the local industries with their IP awareness. For this purpose, 5 sub-branches for Beijing 12330 have also been established in areas such as Beijing Economic Technology Development Zone, CBD, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park.
