According to a recent meeting on judicial and administrative protection for intellectual property held in Inner Mongolia, Inner Mongolia Higher People’s Court will cooperate with 13 institutions including Public Security Bureau and People's Procuratorate to establish a joint meeting mechanism in order to ensure a long-term and efficient communication mechanism for IPR protection.
The statistics show that from1993 to 2009, courts at all levels in the region received a total of 1,211 cases covering patent, trademark, new varieties of plants, copyright, unfair competition, technology contract, pre-trial injunction. From 2005 to 2008, an average of 94.7% cases was concluded, and 87.2% of the first instance cases were accepted by the parties.
