Recently, SIPO issued the Circular on Recent Arrangement of Enforcement Actions by IP Offices, requiring full operation of Project 5·26 (hereinafter the circular ).
According to the circular, SIPO will select several regions and shall focus on the building of mechanism, capabilities and teams relating to the enforcement of those IP offices. By improving the working level of the IP enforcement in those selected regions, contributions can be made to upgrade the enforcement capabilities and level across the country.
The circular also requires that local IP offices should formulate detailed implementing plan, speed up the establishment of key contact mechanism for national patent protection, and promote the development of the IP assistance service and IP compliant center.
