Recently, China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) signed MOU with Industry and Trade of the Vietnamese Government in Beijing on bilateral market supervision. Both sides agreed to set up an information exchange system to share information regarding trademark infringement, anti-trust and anti-unfair competition.
According to the MOU, SAIC and Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Vietnamese Government shall exchange information on investigation and settlement of IPR infringement, treatment of food security, best practice and related laws and regulations.
Besides, joint efforts will be made to investigate and settle within the border of either country the illegal activities by entities or individuals which restrain competition or conduct unfair competition and harm the rights and interests of consumers.
