According to the Several Opinions by Central Government on Promoting the Sustainable Agricultural Development and Income of farmers (hereinafter the opinions), much attention shall be drawn to the enhancement of IP protection in agriculture, and pledge loan by using patent and trademark will be further developed.
The opinions also indicate that more investment shall be made to promote the agricultural innovation and industrial structure. It is also required that a modern supporting and service system should established to speed up the science and technological innovations. An agricultural innovation fund should be established to provide support to major areas and key products. Other projects should also be developed such as cultivation of new varieties of GMO.
Additionally, the opinions require for protection of IP in agriculture area and improvement of modern agricultural industry. Pledge loans by using patent and trademark should be encouraged and implemented.
