Lately, Wuhan Municipal Intellectual Property Office held a workshop in which the local patent agencies and major enterprises were invited to attend. Representatives from 12 local patent agencies and 12 major enterprises were present at the workshop.
According to the statistics, the year of 2008 witnessed a significant progress in IP development in Wuhan. More than 10, 000 patent applications were filed and more than 5,000 applications were filed by the enterprises. The patent agencies and the related offices of Wuhan IP office are required to further improve the working level and help the local enterprises to survive international financial crisis in 2009.
