From May 16 to 20, 2023, INTA (International Trademark Association) Annual Meeting 2023 was held in Singapore, attracting over 7,000 IP professionals from more than 140 nations.
Mr. Christopher Shaowei, Senior Partner of NTD IP Attorneys, Mr. Christopher Shen, Senior Partner, as well as other 11 attorneys attended this meeting, and had deep conversations with the colleagues around the world on the hot issues of common concern and the latest IP development.
Mr. Christopher Shen delivered a keynote speech in the panel session China Case Law Update – Know Before You Go: Green Shoots in China IP. During the session, some key issues were discussed including but not limited to the absolute grounds for refusal and cancellation of a trademark, the grounds for refusal and cancellation of a trademark, the trademark infringement, limitation of rights, and defenses, and legal remedies. The depth analysis was given on some typical cases and their effect on trademark enforcement in China.
