On September 23, 2019 BJT, the Internet Trademark Association (INTA) Board Meeting passed the decision to name Mr. Christopher Shen, senior partner from NTD Intellectual Property Attorneys and Mr. Zhao Lei, senior partner from Unitalen Attorneys At Law co-chairmen of 2020-2021 China Global Advisory Council (GAC) of INTA. This decision came out by recommending, nominating and voting the multiple candidates.
The co-chairman is responsible for matters relating to offering opinions and suggestions to the Chairman and CEO of INTA, making proposals to the regional policy development or hot issues, promoting the cross-industry communications, and participating in various significant programs and seminars. The co-chairman shall play a positive role in strengthening the ties between the trademark practitioners in China and the counterparts across the world, to promote the intellectual property protection.
The International Trademark Association (INTA), found in 1878, is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation. Nowadays, INTA’s members are more than 7,200 organizations from 187 countries.
