On June 28, 2018, Christopher Shen, senior partner, was invited to attend the second session of “China Trademark Elite Workshop” held in Beijing. About 50 persons were invited and they are heads of the relevant trademark departments of State Intellectual Property Office, senior judges from the courts, professors from universities and research institutes, and representatives from well-known trademark agencies.
The session focused on the amendments to the Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Liu Junchen, Deputy Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office, delivered a keynote speech.
The session was chaired by Mr. Ma Fu, President of China Trademark Association. Experts from all sides held heated discussions and provided their opinions and advices on the trademark law amendment.
