On June 30th, the service platform of “internet plus customs” (http://online.customs.gov.cn) was officially launched, and services for 60 items in 9 general categories are available online.
The service platform has 7 major functions including user access, information, information retrieval, service guide, consultation, supervision and evaluation, and individualized notification. The service guide function is comprised of transportation, cargo clearance, goods clearance, tax and fee service, business management, administrative approval and intellectual property.
Since the operation of the service platform, user can log in to handle all available service items online. Enterprises are also provided with clear guidance on the procedures of each service item, which helps to improve work efficiency and cut the cost of trade.
Next, General Administration of Customs will establish the internet plus government service system by improving the service platform, adding service items, optimizing user experience and docking with the central platform.
