With the support from State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the industry alliance for the technical application of digital copyright protection (hereinafter the alliance), initiated by China Academy of Press and Publication, was recently established in Beijing.
Based on the technology research and development of digital copyright protection, the alliance was aimed at promoting the achievements of the copyright engineering project and other related technologies and encouraging the technological development and application of digital copyright protection.
It is noted that the alliance will focus on the following in the future: accelerating the promotion and application of digital copyright protection, conducting individualized survey on the application of digital copyright protection and improving the applicative models of these technologies in related field, launching itinerant exhibitions and training events, engaging in litigations against selected representative websites of piracy and infringement to safeguard copyright, and publishing annual report on the application of China’s technological application of digital copyright protection.
