Recently, the alliance for mobile internet app security and copyright (hereinafter the alliance) was established in Guangzhou. Initiated by 27 enterprises and institutions including National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and China Mobile Internet, the alliance aimed at supervising enterprises in mobile internet field to assume their social responsibility for internet security.
According to the arrangement, the alliance will supervise app publishing platforms, promote the security copyright identity and establish channels for public complaints. In the meantime, the alliance will assist public security organs to expose the apps that steal personal information and spread illegal information. The illegal and criminal apps will be transferred to public security organs.
It is noted that the website of the alliance will publish information on national app security, share the app blacklist and provide the portal for public complaints.
