Recently, the third Sino-US high-level joint dialogue was held in Washington to assess the efficiency and quality of response to the request for cybercrime information and to enhance bilateral cooperation against network crime.
According to the dialogue, both countries will continue cooperative investigations into cyber crimes and malicious network actions, and prevent enterprises from stealing intellectual property on internet. Both countries agreed to advance the cyber crime reporting mechanism, focus on combating Hacker and network fraud, and exchange views on the existing multilateral channels of cooperation.
Second, both sides will enhance cyber protection through a variety of ways, including removing malicious software, developing patches to fix bugs, periodically sharing malicious IP address and software, and other information for protection.
Third, it is affirmed that efforts will be continued to fight against violent terrorism through technology and telecommunication.
Fourth, hotlines will be used and information will be exchanged for countering cybercrime and other related matters.
