Recently, a joint enforcement team was established in Shanghai to protect Disney related intellectual property rights. Members of the enforcement team are from the public security department, cultural enforcement department, market supervisory department and intellectual property department.
The enforcement team will conduct inspection in some fields with focus on small commodity markets, major attraction sites, transportation hubs, catering, tourist, advertising, internet platform, etc. In addition, a mechanism is set up for sharing of information among all relevant departments to have an active and connected protection for Disney related intellectual property rights.
