Recently, 2016 China International Furniture Expo and 38th China International Furniture Fair (hereinafter the Expo) were held in Shanghai. Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (hereinafter SIPA) showed the presence at the Expo and carried out intellectual property aid activities.
During the Expo, over 20 professionals from law firms, patent agencies were present to provide intellectual property related consultation, complaint and mediation services. There were over 200 consultations accepted, over 2,000 booths inspected and over 50 cases handled.
It is noted that the Expo, held in three venues covering approximately 800,000 square meters, attracted over 5,000 furniture enterprises home and abroad and nearly 200,000 visitors.
