Recently, Supreme People’s Procuratorate issued opinions on well-functioning of procuratorate organs to protect technological innovation (hereinafter the opinions). It is stressed that special campaigns will be launched to strike cross-regional and cross-border infringement and counterfeits.
According to the opinion, China will further enhance the legislative protection of innovation subjects, especially those regarding high-tech, key technologies, national and public interests, internet infringements. It is also demanded that cooperative mechanism be established among regions and departments to form the intellectual property protection system.
