Recently, SIPO released the 2015 report on patent survey data, which is the first publication of patent survey data in China.
According to the report, the implementation rate of China’s valid patents reached 50% wherein the application of enterprise patents showed a higher level. Licensing was the major way of implementation of patents from colleges and universities.
The report indicated that patentees request administrative organs to take strong actions against infringement in spite of the declining ratio of infringement in recent years,
Since 2008, SIPO has carried out national patent survey for 8 consecutive years, covering patent invention, application, protection, management and service.
