Recently, Sword Net 2016 Special Action (hereinafter the special action) was launched by National Copyright Administration, Cyberspace Administration of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security. The special action will, within 5 months, strike the piracy of internet literature and APP infringements, and regulate online advertising alliance.
It is reported that the special action will target at unauthorized illegal distribution of net literature, news, films and television to protect the legitimate right of the owners. The special action will also focus on the investigation of infringements on APPs, e-commercial platforms, online advertising alliance and private cinemas. The copyright protection order of online music, network cloud storage space will be further regulated.
It is demanded that related departments intensify surveillance in three aspects. First, enhancing the supervision to strike illegal distribution of net literature via websites, post bars, micro blogs and we chat, regulating the distribution through browsers and search engines. Second, special action will be carried out to strengthen supervision of uploaders, APP stores, and internet television bars. Third, the management will be enhanced with regard to online advertising alliance. The enterprise’s responsibility will be promoted and copyright protection mechanism will be established.
