Since the launch of 2016 special action for network market supervision, administrations for industry and commerce across China have made achievement in fighting against trademark infringement, sales of counterfeit and shoddy commodities, and misleading propaganda.
It is reported that local administrations further enhanced enforcement and supervision. For example, the statistics show that Jilin administration for industry and commerce deleted 7 pieces of illegal product information, investigated 10 illegal network cases, and confiscated a fine of 255,000; 481 illegal network cases, 82 credit speculation cases, 112 false propaganda cases, 66 trademark infringing cases were investigated by Zhejiang administration for industry and commerce. So far, Guangdong administration for industry and commerce filed a total of 312 cases, and 18 cases were closed with a fine of 174,500. In Chongqing, 144 pieces of illegal product information were deleted, 67 websites were ordered to make ratification, 57 illegal cases were investigated, 1 cases was transferred to public security organization, a total fine of 878,500 were confiscated.
