The Patent Reexamination Board of SIPO is to start a new column of invalidation examination decision on its website to improve efficient disclosure of information; the column will be officially launched on April 26, 2016.
At present, invalidation examination decision is periodically publicized on Gazette of State Intellectual Property Office by the Patent Reexamination Board, and is publicized in the column of examination report search, one week since the decision is made. The timely publication of invalidation examination decision helps to solve the outstanding issue of long period in patent right protection, to better coordinate with courts that handle patent infringement disputes, and to realize the smooth connection between patent right verification and infringing cases.
