Top 10 Foreign Enterprises regarding the filing of invention patent applications in 2015 include: Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (2,742), Samsung Electronics Corporation (2,117), Qualcomm Inc. (1,943), Toyota Motor Corporation (1,921), Robert Bosch GmbH (1,480), Hyundai Motor Company (1,441), Intel Corporation (1,258), Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (1,210), Canon Inc. (1,167), Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. (1,161).
Top 10 Foreign Enterprises in terms of the number of invention patents granted in 2015 include: Qualcomm Inc. (1,350), Canon Inc. (1,273), Toyota Motor Corporation (1,240), Panasonic Corporation (1,117), Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (1,095), General Motor Corporation (1,005), Robert Bosch GmbH (940), Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.
