Since the beginning of 2015, the intellectual property agencies in China targeted it task on building a country with strong IP rights. Continuous and enhanced efforts were made against the infringement and counterfeit activities.
It is reported that significant achievements were made in many aspects including case-handling and system building. The report system showed that there was a big increase of administrative enforcement cases relating to patent. Online protection and enforcement were also strengthened. The work scope of local IP agencies and the IP Aid centers was extended more to the e-business. The pending time was greatly shortened in handling cases relating to e-business and exhibition.
In addition, China established speedy protection centers for intellectual property right in eight industry cluster districts. Each protection center gave full play to the 12330 hotline for reporting IP infringement and provided advisory opinions to protect the IP rights.
