At a recent conference, report on Sword Net 2015 Special Campaign (hereinafter Sword Net 2015) was released. According to the report, a total of 383 administrative cases were prosecuted, the administrative penalty of 4,500,000 Yuan was imposed, 59 cases involving 38,450,000 Yuan were transferred to judicial organizations and 13 websites were shut down.
It is said that Sword Net 2015 was jointly launched by the National Copyright Administration, Cyberspace Administration of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Public Security, which is targeted at the network infringement and piracy.
