Recently, State Forestry Administration (hereinafter SFA) issued the Opinions on further Enhancing Forestry Standardization (hereinafter the Opinions) which proposed to establish the technical standards with independent intellectual property right.
According to the Opinions, SFA will promote the coordination between technology research and development, and the technical standards, and put the forestry standards under the management of scientific and research development. SFA will support the formulation of technical standards with independent intellectual property rights and accelerate the transformation into standards of the patented achievements. SFA also invites enterprises, research institutes and social organizations to participate in the establishment of forestry technical standards.
