At a recent workshop, official from National Copyright Administration (hereinafter NCAC), indicated that NCAC will further enhance copyright enforcement in network, since enforcement is one of the major missions in copyright work.
Since 2005, related departments including NCAC, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Public Security have jointly launched the Sword Net Action, the special action on cracking down network infringement and piracy. The protection for copyright in the network has significantly improved and each year, a large number of big cases were investigated and concluded. At present, problems still occur in literature and music websites. Therefore, constant efforts and focus should be utilized against these infringement and piracy on the internet.
