During a recent meeting at SIPO, representatives from different examination departments reviewed the current work and discussed about the key tasks for the near future.
The meeting reached a consensus that examination is the core business of SIPO. In spite of the quantities and qualities in the past years, new emerging opportunities or challenges are facing examiners and the work of examination. It is agreed that in order to improve the examination and upgrade the quality and efficiency, measures will be taken in the following aspects: quality, examiners ability and training of examiners, working mechanism for examination. Users of the examination system should be the first priority and their needs for examination should be met.
The future target of SIPO is said to reach the international advanced level in examination.
