The National IP High Court expected to be established

    1/7/2015|EVENTS

A recent report of the Supreme People's Court released that the National IP High Court is expected to be established.

Due to the time length, difficulty in providing evidence and high cost in IP enforcement, the Supreme People's Court carefully studied the advantages and disadvantages of the current dual litigation system of patent infringement and patent invalidation. A high court at the national level is expected to explore a unified system for both litigation and invalidation.

The National IP High Court is also assumed to set up unified standards of judgment and shorten the examination time of IP enforcement.
