Recently, the intellectual property office was established in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) of China (Shanghai), which marked a new era for IP administration and protection in the Free Trade Zone.
The IP Office of FTZ in Shanghai is an independent agency combining the responsibilities of IP administration and enforcement. It will be the first agency in China to administrate and enforce patents, trademarks and copyrights, and will be a model for other FTZs.
