Recently, over a hundred of media companies and organizations gathered in Beijing witnessing the establishment ceremony of the New Media Copyright Alliance.
The New Media Copyright Alliance is a nonprofit coordinating organization guided by the Copyright Society of China and jointly launched by nine national media, including www.people.com.cn, www.china.com.cn and www.cctv.com, etc.
The establishment of the Alliance will help to eliminate online infringement, protect the copyright of original works published on the intent, and promote the sound and sustainable development of the copyright industry. The Alliance is not only a communication platform for China’s new media, but also a sword unleashed to online copyright infringement.
During the ceremony, a number of experts in IP and internet fields held a roundtable discussion on issues such as the obstacles and strategies of copyright protection for new media in China, the media technology development for copyright protection promotion, and the realization of win-win copyright cooperation.
