On July 10, 2014, The China office of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was officially opened. This is the fifth of its kind opened worldwide after Brazil, Japan, the United States and Singapore.
According to the State Intellectual Property Office of PRC, the China office of WIPO is expected to play an important role enhancing China’s communication and cooperation with WIPO. By establishing the office, WIPO will provide more support for China’s innovation.
