Pursuant to the agreement signed by the world's five largest Intellectual Property Offices- European Patent Office (EPO), Japan Patent Office (JPO), Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and State Intellectual Property Office of P. R. C. (SIPO) in Geneva Switzerland in September, 2013, the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) Pilot Program among IP5 came into operation on January 6, 2014, and will be ended on January 5, 2017.
