Recently China signed several documents with some European countries on its efforts to further implement Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) Pilot programs in 2014.
According to the Joint Agreement for Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) between the State Intellectual Property Office of PRC (SIPO) and Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) China-Denmark PPH Program has been extended for two years and will be ended on December 31, 2015,
According to the Intention Statement of the extension of the PPH Program between SIPO and the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland, the PPH program between China and Finland will be extended indefinitely.
Besides, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of PPH with the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and that with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office were both signed and came into effect on January 1, 2014. The former will be ended on December 31, 2015 with the duration of 2 years and the latter on December 31, 2016 with the duration of 3 years.
