TaoBao joined hands with IACC to fight against online counterfeiting and piracy

    10/3/2013|EVENTS

After more than one year’s consultation, the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition (IACC), the world largest anti-counterfeiting organization, and TaoBao, China’s largest C2C e-commerce platform signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) to join efforts against online counterfeiting and piracy.

The collaboration between TaoBao and IACC shows a strong commitment to improve the efficiency of identifying and reporting online infringing goods, assisting law-enforcement agencies in follow-up investigation and attacking offline counterfeit activities. The MOU is a win-win signal for the member companies of IACC, TaoBao and online consumers.

TaoBao was established in 2003 and now owns over 800 million product information and 500 million registered users, ranking one of the top 20 highest viewed website in the world.
