Recently, Patent Information Annual Conference of China 2013(PIAC) was held successfully in Beijing. Founded in 2010, PIAC is hosted by State Intellectual Property Office(SIPO) and organized by Intellectual Property Publishing House(IPPH) and now it has become the biggest event of the kind in Asia. PIAC is designed to build an international communication and cooperation platform for the use of patent information.
PIAC 2013 covered a wide range of issues such as corporate practice of IP management, analysis of typical cases on patent litigation, world IP status, promotion of patent information products and services, evaluation and monetization of patents. PIAC offers great opportunities for the IP owners and information and service providers to keep up with the latest IP information, access to the latest R&D accomplishment.
It is learnt that PIAC 2013 attracted about 1,500 delegates including officials from IP offices, in-house counsels, IP attorneys, patent experts, and patent information service providers from China and abroad.
