Recently, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce(hereinafter as SAIC) announced nine kinds of typical violations regarding to Internet commodity trading, aiming to help consumers identify false goods, strengthening the publicity and warning effect for online trading.
According to SAIC, the 9 typical Internet commodity trading illegal acts are: 1. Sale of the commodities that infringe upon the right to exclusive use of a registered trademark; 2. Violation of the relevant provisions of Administration of Enterprise Registration and forgery or fraudulent use of the company name; 3. Use of names, packaging, or decoration similar to those of well-known goods causing confusion among consumers. 4. Use of website to release false information about company or commodity and making false publicity to mislead consumers; 5. Spreading of malicious slander to do harm to business reputation or product reputation of its competitors; 6. Sale of fake and shoddy goods which damage the interests of other business operators or consumers. 7. Engagement in business operations without obtaining license; 8. Unauthorized disclosure or sale of personal information of consumers against the relevant regulations; 9. Use of unfair or unreasonable rules in the standard contract against the interests of consumers.
