Recently, capital copyright alliance was established in Beijing (hereinafter as the alliance) including over 70 institutes such as China Publishing Group Corp., CCTV, Beijing TV, Baidu, Sina, Kingsoft and BGCTV. The alliance is to effectively integrate resources within the industry, protect copyright rights of its members, strengthen the market management and promote the healthy development of the capital copyright industry.
The Regulations of the Capital of Copyright Alliance were approved. The major tasks of the alliance includes submitting proposal for national copyright industry and legislation, increasing the public awareness of copyright protection, purifying the market order of copyright industry, building platform for online copyright monitoring, actively participating in formulation of the copyright system, setting up copyright mediation committee, and promoting copyright import and export trade.
