    4/29/2013|EVENTS

The National Copyright Administration(NCAC) recently launched the Nationwide Green Bookmark Campaign of 2013(hereinafter as the Campaign) in an effort to combat copyright piracy and  increase public awareness for copyright protection in the whole country.

During the Campaign, green bookmarks were distributed for free in more than 200 schools, 200 residential communities, 200 cinemas and theaters, and 1,500 bookstores across China. Pirated publications seized in 2012 were also destroyed.

The key work of the Campaign of 2013 was to focus on the piracy of major theme publications, best-selling publications, and teaching materials, audio-visual programs, online bookstore, e-commerce platform for sale and spreading pirated publications.

The Green Bookmark Campaign started in 2008, a call for people to refuse piracy, respect innovation and protect copyright.
