According to the Plan on Promotion of Patent Administrative Enforcement Capacity by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), all IP offices across China will launch a special escort campaign on IPR protection and enforcement during the second and third quarters in 2013. The campaign will be carried out in a more concentrated, powerful and pragmatic way. Complaint hotlines will be soon published on the official website of the SIPO for the escort campaign.
During the Special Campaign, local IP offices will check possible IP violations at large circulation places and exhibitions each month. Concentrated efforts will be made against patent infringement and counterfeiting activities. Enforcement officials are required to be quick to response. Hot lines and major activities will be available to the public through media and websites of local IP offices.
SIPO will be actively involved in the campaign and provide guidance or assistance to local IP offices.
