Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between State of Intellectual Property Office(SIPO) and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Under the MOU, both offices will start cooperation in areas such as the formulation as well as implementation of IP strategy, automation of patent system, personnel training, and the exchange of patent documentations.
