Recently at the Patent Examination Work Conference, officials from the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) made the point that the examination level and quality should be comprehensively improved in 2013.
According to the SIPO, the aim of the patent examination in 2013 is to raise the examination level, promote the establishment of guiding system and quality assurance system for patent examination, continue to improve the patent search level, and ensure the consistence of examination standard. Administration will be strengthened for pendency to accomplish the examination tasks for 2013.
