Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office released Guidance on Accelerating the Analysis and Appraisal Capability of Chinese IP Service Agencies (hereinafter refers to as the Guidance).
According to the Guidance, 6 tasks were proposed in order to improve the analysis and appraisal capabilities of IP service agencies including construction of the capabilities under the policy and environment, standardization of market competition order for IP analysis and appraisal.
It is recognized that IP analysis & appraisal service is an important project to be established for economic activities by science and technology. The issuance of the Guidance is to effectively enhance analysis and appraisal capability for the whole society and provide assistance for policy formulation by government departments and enterprises and institutions; It can also assist to reasonably distribute innovation resources and strengthen the international competiveness by Chinese industries.
