Recently, the leading group of the National Campaign against IPR Infringement and Counterfeit Products distributed Key Work Arrangement in Combating IPR Infringement and Counterfeit Products in the Third Quarter of 2012.
According to the Arrangements, the key work in the third quarter of this year is to fulfill the Circular of the General Office of the State Council on Distributing Key Tasks in National Campaign against IPR Infringement and Counterfeit Products, promote the Special Campaign, improve the coordinating mechanism between administrative enforcement and criminal justice, accelerate the construction of laws and regulations and institutional system, create a pattern of mass prevention and control against infringement and counterfeit , the adjustment of economic construction and the building of national innovation system.
To be specified, efforts will be made in the following 4 areas: 1. protection of key commodities such as farming materials, reinforcement of trademarks, patents and copyrights, strengthening efforts against infringement and counterfeit activities via internet; 2. increasing judicial protection against economic crime and infringers and counterfeiters. and strengthening supervision and guidance over serious cases; 3. acceleration of the construction of laws and regulations and institutional system, establishment of coordination between administrative enforcement and judicial protection, establishment of risk-prevention mechanism; 4. creating a pattern of mass prevention and control against infringement and counterfeit activities, publicity and education of mass awareness, and the improvement of credit system and supervision mechanism.
